Further to Alastair Bowie’s report during the service this morning (2nd October).

The Simon on the Streets (SOTS) sponsored sleep-out has attracted quite a lot of attention from the press. A Yorkshire Evening Post reporter actually took the time to spend the night with the intrepid sleepers, and you can see his video diary here. Alastair is predicting that we will double the number of sleepers at next year’s event – let’s try and make this a reality!

We have not heard from Phil Commons following her sleep-out, but hope to get some words from her soon describing her experience. In the meantime it is not too late to sponsor Phil – there is a form in the meeting area at church.
