Christmas morning saw MBC packed with people. Giant crackers, Martyn and Graham’s unique presentation of Freddie Mercury and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and handshakes liberally sprinkled with frankincense all contributed to a very special time of celebration.

At 6pm on Sunday 18th December we held our traditional Christmas carol service, loosely based on the festival of “Nine lessons and carols” which was introduced at King’s College Cambridge in 1918 and has been broadcast from there since 1928.

You might have felt it would be hard to top last year’s Christmas Prom. By any measure, this year’s event felt better than ever. Another sell-out event – wonderful decorations and atmosphere, an abundance of great food and a throng of young people intent on enjoying themselves for the evening.
