Students

Although Moortown is some distance from the Universities in Leeds, we’re still delighted to welcome students that live locally. Many families in our church also have older children who are students at colleges and universities in other towns and cities – and we’re always thrilled to catch up with them during the holidays as well as remembering them in our prayers.

We always watch our own young people leave for new adventures like study and work with a mix of joy and sadness. Please do pray for them, whether they are just settling in or making decisions as they are thinking about the future as their studies come to an end. As these young adults make their own way in the world, our hope is that MBC is a safe place to call home until they are settled elsewhere or return to Leeds.

Josh Slater began his Instructor training at Barcaple in September 2009 and Luke Slater is currently doing a gap year with Oasis 360.
